WATCH LIVE at 11 a.m.: Florida Gov. DeSantis holds briefing on Hurricane Ian

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis will hold a news conference Monday in Tallahassee to discuss Hurricane Ian, which is forecast to strike the state’s west coast in the coming days.

The briefing will be held at 11 a.m. at the State Emergency Operations Center.

DeSantis will be joined by Florida Division of Emergency Management Director Kevin Guthrie and Major General James O. Eifert, who’s responsible for the training and operations of the Florida National Guard.
