Tropical System To Impact Florida Next Week

In the tropics, there are three areas of interest. However, the disturbance

in the eastern Caribbean is the one to watch as it moves towards Florida over the next several days. A subtropical storm will likely impact Florida mid to late next week. The threat of heavy rain and gusty winds over 40+ MPH is increasing. Coastal flooding and beach erosion will be a problem on the Florida east coast with persistent strong onshore flow. Let me be clear, this will not be Ian. Most of these impacts will be very manageable for Florida with squally weather expected.
