Tropical Storm Watches in effect for much of SWFL as Nicole nears Florida east coast

We continue to track Subtropical Storm Nicole in the Southwest Atlantic tonight. As of the 4 A.M. advisory from the National Hurricane Center, Nicole has 45mph sustained winds and is moving to the NW at 8 mph. The center of Nicole is located about 675 miles ENE of Fort Myers. While the storm is moving to the northwest this evening, high pressure is set to build in over the top of Nicole that will keep the storm from escaping into the open Atlantic, forcing it to dive to the west-southwest, towards Florida.
