PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. — A Port Charlotte woman is accused of submitting five false voter registration applications. Dominique Hughes, 35, worked for a third-party voter registration company called Hard Knocks Strategies. Organizations like this are often used to getting as many voters to the polls as possible, but not by breaking the rules… with chips and water. Hughes told investigators that’s what she was doing for the company.
