Lee Election Supervisor asks for 12 county-wide voting sites, urges vote by mail

LEE COUNTY, Fla. — The Lee County Election Supervisor has come up with a

plan to pull off the November election. Tommy Doyle is asking the governor to sign off on his plan.  He sent a letter requesting to open 12 county-wide voting centers, explaining anyone could vote at these sites. Normally the county would have 97 sites on Election Day, but he doesn’t have enough poll workers to pull that off. Doyle is urging people to vote by mail.  If you haven’t done that, there is still time to request a ballot. He is making it easy to request
