High chance for development in Caribbean, no threat to U.S. 

With just over one month left in hurricane season, there are just two areas of interest at the moment. There are no active storms in the Atlantic basin. An area of low pressure near Bermuda has a low chance of development due to strong wind shear this weekend. An area farther south in the eastern Caribbean has a high chance for development but poses no threat to the U.S.

This disturbance will track west and high pressure will keep this from curving north. While the U.S. will not experience any impacts, this system could impact central America. Puerto Rico can expect
