Officials release temporary access plan to Fort Myers Beach from southern bridges

ORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. — The Lee County Government announced the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has completed temporary repairs to four bridges that provided access to the south end of Fort Myers Beach.

ccording to a Lee County Government press release on Tuesday, Oct. 18, access to Fort Myers Beach from the south will be limited to essential response personnel. Officials said this is in order to speed up the restoration of essential services and infrastructure.
