Nicole continues to push onshore this morning, and the highest impacts will
remain on the east coast of Florida. The storm made landfall on the east coast just south of Vero Beach early Thursday morning as a category 1 hurricane. Regardless of Nicole’s status, the forecast in SWFL remains the same: gusty and rainy conditions through the morning. Steady, light to moderate rain is possible through midmorning in SWFL.
